Our intention to spend a full month driving through some of Northern Europe's most remote regions gave rise to our schedule for Scandinavia. We took a road trip through Norway the year before and fell in love with the place. We experienced the breathtaking Northern Lights in Norway and developed an addiction. We also had the opportunity to travel to Helsinki, Finland, during that year, and were astounded by its beauty. We became seriously addicted to saunas and all things hygge during that time.
